Andrea Bocelli's much-acclaimed Under The Desert Sky performance demonstrated what is being termed popera. If you loved it, you will love Welland-Port Colborne Concert Association's presentation of Destino. With solo careers in pop, jazz, opera, gospel, and rhythm and blues, members Joey Niceforo, Rosemary Siemens, Terance Reddick and Roy Tan have joined from Vancouver to San Diego to New York and finally Toronto, forming the group Destino and are bringing audiences across North America to their feet wherever they perform. Sudbury to Italian and French-Canadian heritage, is an operatic tenor who has performed all over the world including New York, Rome and the Czech Republic. According to Insight magazine, Niceforo has one of the most robust and exciting voices heard in a long time. Opera Canada reported he has charmed audiences as Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni and he has received the prestigious Italians of the World award.
