If you're looking to add a romantic dramedy to your Netflix queue try New York, I Love You from 2009. Julie Christie plays a retired opera singer who checks into the top floor of her favorite Manhattan hotel to contemplate her life. There she meets a bellhop played by Shia LaBeouf. Written by the late Anthony Minghella, the scenes are shot with an elysian glow.
