Zsa Zsa Gabor Recovering After Surgery

"I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave
a man I keep his house." – Zsa Zsa Gabor
93-year old movie star Zsa Zsa Gabor is recovering after a partial amputation of her right leg yesterday due to a gangrene infection that could have ended her life.

The actress got her first break after attending boarding school in Lausanne. She went to study music at the Musikakademie in Vienna, where she was discovered by tenor Richard Tauber who offered her a soubrette role in the 1936 production of his new operetta Der singended Traum at the Theater an der Wien. She was crowned Miss Hungary that same year. She emigrated to the United States in 1941 and had a lengthy career on stage, film and television.
